The information securtiy company, NPCore(CEO, Seungchul Han is the second from the right in the picture)
 
won a prize from the minister of Science, ICT and Future Planning as the contributing company
 
to the information security industry's development. This prize is awarded to companies that
 
 contributed to the information security industry's  development by the Ministry of Science,ICT and
 
Future Planning and Korea Communications Commission. The award ceremony was held at the
 
COEX InterContinental Hotel on 14th on the theme of 'Privacy & K-ICT Security Festival'.
 
 
  The information security company, NPCore won a prize from the minister of Science, ICT and Future Planning as the contributing company to the information security industry's development. This prize is awarded to companies that contributed to the information security industry's  development by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Korea Communications Commission. The award ceremony was held at the COEX InterContinental Hotel on 14th on the theme of 'Privacy & K-ICT Security Festival'. It was highly evaluated that NPCore developed new APT and malware detection & defense solution using behavior-based detection and block method and contributed to a safe internet environment and increased exports in response to government's export promotion policies. The event was held on five major themes: awareness of information security, strengthening invasion response, business start-up, job creation, and industrial promotion. In addition to the award ceremony for the competition in the field of privacy and information security, awards were given for information security's grand prize and information security hackathon. Integrated technology transfer presentation hosted by information security research institutes such as KISA, ETRI, National Security Research Institute and the seminar on information security industry prospect in intelligence information society, the seminar on the 4th industrial revolution and privacy were held together. NPCore was awarded for excellent R&D company by Seoul mayor in '2016 Seoul Knowledge Fair'

held at Nuridream Square on 11th and organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the SBA.

NPCore was awarded for excellent R&D company by Seoul mayor in '2016 Seoul Knowledge Fair'.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the SBA held '2016 Seoul Knowledge Fair' at Nuridream Square on 11th and awarded some excellent R&D companies and people.

There was various events such as award ceremony, special lecture, forum and invention contest  in this fair held by SBA 2 years after '2014 Seoul R&D Result Fair'. Fifty companies, two times more than at the last fair, participated. The number of visitors also increased to 3,000.

On the first day of the fair, an award ceremony was held, followed by the opening ceremony at the Content Hall in SBA's HQ. 5 researchers and 5 companies including NPCore were awarded by Seoul mayor. NPCore was awarded for a security solution to prevent personal information exfiltration and security incidents.

It was highly evaluated that NPCore's solution, 'Zombie ZERO' contributed to a safe internet environment as new APT and malware detection & defense solution using behavior-based detection and block method.

SBA's CEO, Hyungchul Joo said we should continue to invest and support the R&D sector to discover the next generation growth engine. '2016 Seoul Knowledge Fair' announcing the results of the Seoul R&D project, will be a chance to awaken once again the importance of R&D.
